A project at my former school Krabbesholm (www.krabbesholm.dk). This was a poster project and the final of all of my projects at the place.

Ah worn scratched posters. I really do have a soft spot for these, you pull it off perfectly, with the perfect level of wear and darkening around the body to give it such depth and age. What brushes did you use for this?

I do like the simple colour scheme of reds and stark white, with the worn colours of browns and greys seeping in, I think a print of this would look fantastic!

Great texture choice. Love that shade of red. As a student of graphic design, I really appreciate the definition.

I'm glad :) However, when I look back and read my little definition there I'm not really happy with it. I was very "green" within the field of design when I made this poster.

I love what you have done with the typography. It is absolutely amazing to look at. Well done on balancing the angles so they are just dynamic enough to engage the viewer and keep them looking.

Nice piece of design dude.
The typography is fantastic. You used the old school 'start with Helvetica and go from there' technique. The way you altered the large format text has a nice flow and you cropped it at the ends 'just so' which adds a little mystery. I love the way you have used your grids with the type.
That shade of red contrasting with the white is almost a passionate argument between the two which really catches the eye. The texture just adds that extra 'pop' to the negative space and pulls it all together. nicely done.

I made the type/shapes in Illustrator with Helvetica and pen-tool and then I opened it in Photoshop and put a layer with texture over the whole thing.

just search for different kind of textures. find one with a lot of white scratches in it, give it a lot of contrast and then set the layer to lighten or something
